To date, Compassion has been one of the top 3  most listened to episodes which is amazing as it is such a key to freedom, health, growth and more. In another episode, I shared on being a grace giver and it falls in line with that, we extend grace to others and ourselves. It's a practice. Just as having empathy and compassion for others is a practice and a choice.

Let me bring you into a huge secret that is literally LIFE CHANGING.SELF-COMPASSION. That's right.. compassion given to yourself.

Let's consider the many times you saw or heard a friend, family member or even a stranger hurting, stressed, in need or going thru a rough season. You extend grace and compassion to them. You express love, words of kindness, forgiveness, hope and more, right?Now think about your mistakes, bad days, struggles and pains, do you offer yourself the same pep talk and love?  Most of the time no, we are usually self-critical more then we are self-compassionate.We must honor and accept that we are HUMAN, in process, and not perfect.I want to challenge you from this moment forward to not only respond to others with compassion and grace but to do the very same for yourself. As a practice, I encourage you to tell yourself something kind 5-8x a day for 30 days and see what happens. I want you to also respond to your failures, pain & beyond the same way.
